    The session began with an in-depth exploration of Fundamental Analysis, where students learned to evaluate a company's financial health using financial statements, key financial ratios, analyst reports, research platforms, and investment websites. Through company-specific case studies, participants gained practical insights into analysing businesses and making informed investment decisions. The workshop then progressed to Technical Analysis, where students were introduced to chart patterns, market trends, price movements, and technical indicators using real-time market data. The resource person also discussed various investment avenues and demonstrated how fundamental and technical approaches complement each other in building effective investment strategies. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who actively engaged in the live demonstrations and hands-on analysis of market data. The interactive format fostered meaningful discussions and enabled participants to apply the concepts in real-time. Students appreciated the workshop for its practical orientation and relevance to current financial markets, describing it as informative, insightful, engaging, and highly useful. The session significantly enhanced their understanding of investment analysis and reinforced the value of learning directly from an experienced industry expert.

    Session on Building Borderless Workforce

    The session focused on one of the most significant trends shaping the future of work—the emergence of a borderless workforce. Ms. Rashmi explained how organizations across the globe are moving beyond geographical boundaries by embracing remote work, digital transformation, and global talent acquisition. She highlighted that advancements in technology have enabled companies to build diverse, cross-functional teams that collaborate seamlessly from different parts of the world. She also emphasized the growing importance of adaptability, cultural intelligence, effective communication, digital collaboration, and continuous learning as essential skills for professionals in today's global workplace. Drawing from her extensive industry experience, Ms. Rashmi shared practical examples of how organizations are leveraging digital tools to manage distributed teams while maintaining productivity, innovation, and employee engagement. She also discussed the opportunities and challenges associated with managing a borderless workforce, including time zone differences, cross-cultural communication, compliance with global employment practices, and fostering an inclusive organizational culture. Her insights provided students with a comprehensive understanding of how Human Resource Management is evolving in response to globalization and technological advancements.

    Community Service : Visit to Ashraya Seva Trust Old Age Home The Rotaract Club of MPBIM, in association with Rotary E-Club of Bengaluru Sakhi and under the guidance of Rtn. Dr. Hema Harsha, Faculty Coordinator, Rotaract Club of MPBIM, successfully organized a heartwarming visit to Ashraya Old Age Home on July 1, 2026. The initiative brought together Rotaractors and Rotarians to spend meaningful time with the residents while promoting the values of compassion, service, and social responsibility. The day began with breakfast alongside the residents, followed by the donation of essential items as a small gesture of care and support. The team also conducted engaging activities, including a lively game and an enthusiastic round of Antakshari, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and meaningful conversations. The interaction brought smiles to both the residents and volunteers, making the experience truly memorable. The visit beautifully reflected Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self,"along with MPBIM’s motto of overall development through holistic learning, reminding the students that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference and strengthen one’s sense of community.

    Faculty Research Enrichment Session on JMP Statistical Discovery Software

    The IQAC of M. P. Birla Institute of Management (MPBIM) organized a Faculty Research Enrichment Session on JMP Statistical Discovery Software on 4 July 2026. The online session was conducted by Dr. Muralidhara A, JMP Global,JMP Statistical Discovery. The session introduced faculty members to JMP, a no-code statistical discovery and data analytics platform designed to simplify data exploration and support research. Participants were provided with an overview of the software's capabilities, including data visualization, exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, multivariate analysis, time series analysis, text analytics, Design of Experiments (DOE), and quality improvement tools. Faculty members also learned about the JMP Academic Program, which provides free access to the software for faculty, students, and research scholars, enabling its use in teaching, learning, and academic research. The session served as a valuable platform for familiarizing faculty with contemporary analytical tools that can support data-driven research and enhance research capabilities.
