Peenya Industrial Visit

Abstract

The students of MBA department visited ACE Designers and Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd., a leading CNC machine tool manufacturer located in Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to industrial manufacturing processes, automation, and quality control mechanisms. Established in 1979, ACE Designers is part of the ACE Micromatic Group, India’s largest machine tool conglomerate. The company specializes in designing and producing CNC lathes, turning centres, and customized automation solutions catering to industries such as automotive, aerospace, and general engineering. During the visit, students observed various departments, including Design and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Testing. Students also learned about Industry 4.0 applications, such as IoT-enabled monitoring and process automation for smart manufacturing. The visit offered a valuable understanding of CNC machine technology, production planning, and industrial workflow management. It connected classroom knowledge with real-world practices, enhancing technical awareness and professional readiness.
