Blood Donation Camp 2026

Abstract

MP Birla Institute of Management, under the aegis of IQAC, in association with the Rotary Blood Centre Aasare, and Rotary E-Club of Bengaluru Sakhi, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on February 17, 2026, held at Session Hall 8, Annex Building. This initiative was coordinated by the Rotaract Club of MPBIM, alongside student coordinators from all clubs within the institute. The camp aimed to promote voluntary blood donation, raise awareness about the vital role of blood contributions in saving lives, and instill a sense of social responsibility among both students and staff. In addition to blood donation, participants benefited from general health check-ups and eye examinations, emphasizing the importance of health awareness and preventive care. The camp was honored by the presence of our esteemed Chairman, Er. N. Ramanuja, along with Principal Dr. S. Sathyanarayana, faculty members, and staff. Their encouragement and support lent significant weight to this initiative, inspiring students to engage actively in this noble cause. The Blood Donation Camp observed enthusiastic participation from students and staff, reflecting MPBIM’s commitment to community service and humanitarian values. The program successfully fostered a spirit of compassion, leadership, and social commitment among young minds, aligning with the institution’s mission of holistic development and civic responsibility. Purpose of the Blood Donation Camp The primary aim of the camp was to contribute to society by addressing the ongoing demand for a safe and adequate blood supply. It sought to encourage voluntary blood donation among youth, promote health awareness through basic medical screenings, and enhance the Institute’s involvement in meaningful social outreach activities.
