Abstract

Prasad J V, a distinguished alumnus of MPBIM from the 2000–2002 batch, was invited to address the Leadership forum. He plays a pivotal role in driving people strategy, talent development, and organizational culture, and brings with him over two decades of rich industry experience. Life beyond campus marks the beginning of a new phase where students step into a world filled with independence, responsibility, and endless opportunities. It is a shift from a structured academic environment to a dynamic space were real-world challenges shape personal and professional growth. Beyond campus, individuals learn to make decisions, manage their time, build careers, and cultivate meaningful relationships. This phase demands adaptability, continuous learning, and confidence to navigate uncertainty. Life after college is not just about finding a job but it is all about discovering one’s purpose, building a strong identity, and creating a future that aligns with one’s aspirations. Mr. Prasad highlighted the challenges faced during the transition like fear of uncertainty, lack of clarity in career path, skill gaps, expectations and reality etc., During the discussions he discussed the modification of behaviour to deal with issues. He emphasised about personality management to manage provocative situation effectively.
