Abstract
As part of its IQAC initiatives, the Rotaract Club of MPBIM, in association with the Rotary E Club of Bengaluru Sakhi, successfully organized an insightful expert talk on “Managing Stress: From Pressure to Personal Power” on August 27, 2026, for the senior and junior batch students. The session was led by Ms. Uma Harinath, Counsellor and Transformational Coach, who offered valuable insights into understanding stress, identifying its impact on personal and professional well-being, and developing effective strategies to manage it. Moving beyond the conventional understanding of stress, the session emphasized self-awareness, emotional well-being, resilience, and practical stress-management techniques. Students were encouraged to reflect on their responses to pressure and explore ways of transforming challenging situations into opportunities for personal growth and greater self-confidence. The interactive and engaging session provided students with practical tools and meaningful perspectives that can be incorporated into their academic, personal, and professional lives. It also highlighted the importance of recognizing stress early, responding to it constructively, and building emotional resilience in an increasingly demanding world. The session served as a valuable reminder that managing stress is not about eliminating pressure, but about developing the awareness, resilience, and confidence to navigate it effectively. From pressure to personal power — learning to manage stress, build resilience, and grow stronger.
