Abstract

Amith Prakash, a distinguished alumnus of MPBIM from the 2000–2002 batch, was invited to address the Leadership Forum. A seasoned professional with 2 decades of experience, Amith is responsible for championing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for employees across Asia-Pacific at Randstad Enterprise and strategic clients in the region. As an EDI Specialist, Amith works toward positioning ‘diversity as a differentiator and inclusion as the integrator’ with a focus on talent attraction, retention and growth. Organizations today are experiencing a dramatic shift in the way talent is discovered, developed, and retained. In the session, points were discussed on how talents are evolved, VUCA and BANI has created more agile and human-centred workplace. Several key points were highlighted on how individuals can remain successful in this evolving landscape. Success now depends on how quickly employees recognize shifts in the environment and navigate them with confidence. To ensure sustained growth, it is vital to notice changes early, adapt proactively, and continuously upskill. Today’s workforce is increasingly shaped by the gig economy, freelancing, and project-based roles, pushing employees to evolve rapidly and embrace lifelong learning. Ultimately, leveraging digital tools to align talent with opportunities more effectively enables individuals to build agility, stay competitive, and thrive in a dynamic world of work.
