Marketing Exhibition-Nirmana: From Idea to Shelf

Abstract

Marketing Exhibition 2026 “Nirmana: From Idea to Shelf” The Marketing Exhibition “Nirmana – From Idea to Shelf” is an experiential learning initiative organized by the Marketing Mavericks Club in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MP Birla Institute of Management on 14th February 2026. The exhibition showcases the complete journey of a product from ideation and concept development to branding, positioning, pricing, promotion, and final market placement. “Nirmana,” meaning Creation, reflects the essence of marketing as a discipline that transforms ideas into tangible value for consumers and organizations. The exhibition provides students with a platform to apply classroom concepts to real-world business scenarios, encouraging creativity, strategic thinking, and customer-centric innovation. The exhibition was inaugurated by Chairman Er. N. Ramanuja. They were six teams who displayed the product ideas. The judges of the event were Dr. Charan Kumar distinguished alumni of 2011 – 2013 Batch. He is presently serving at Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission. Mr. Girish Kumar Raju, distinguished alumni of 2014- 2016 batch. He is serving as Competitive Intelligence Specialist at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise First place was won by Ketan, Prasanna, Adarsh, Chaitra, Anjali, Harshita, Chalapathi, Poorvika for the product idea Easy Dip Tea. The Runners won by Rakesh, Jhanavi, Mishal Mustafa, Raman Gowda, Yeshaswini and Dileep for the product idea - Recycled Cardboard Desk Organiser.
