Database Demo Session 2025

Abstract

MPBIM Library, in collaboration with Antarjaala Tech Club of MPBIM hosted a training workshop on the EBSCO Management Database and Capitaline Database for fourth-semester students. • EBSCO Training: Led by Mr. Srinivasa M.S. on March 21, 2025, attendees learned about citation management, bulk downloads, and the EBSCO mobile app for accessing academic journals. Live demonstrations and an online quiz added engagement, rewarding three participants. • Capitaline Training: Conducted by Mr. Gurumurthy G on July 17, 2025, this session focused on retrieving relevant data and highlighted the library's resources. Participants gained hands-on experience in accessing vital company information, aiding their research skills and opportunities for publishing secondary data research. The program was coordinated by Ms. Manjula M, Information Officer.
