dc.description.abstractSpeaker: Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury, Professor, CIU Business School, Chittagong Independent University, Bangladesh. As part of the IQAC initiative of M.P. Birla Institute of Management, the second webinar in the 2025 series titled “Expert Strategies for Successful Publishing” was held on 28th June 2025. The session featured Prof. Dr. Emon Kalyan Chowdhury from CIU Business School, Chittagong Independent University, Bangladesh a distinguished academic and researcher who provided practical and strategic insights into publishing in reputed academic journals. Key areas of discussion included structuring research papers, crafting effective abstracts and keywords, ensuring proper referencing, writing persuasive cover letters, and adhering to ethical standards. Prof. Chowdhury emphasized clarity, methodological rigor, relevance, and the importance of aligning submissions with a journal’s scope. He also addressed data-sharing practices, common pitfalls to avoid, and the responsible use of peer and AI feedback. With 245 participants, the session proved immensely valuable for early-career researchers, PhD scholars, and faculty. The webinar concluded with key takeaways on originality, precision, and research integrity—offering a roadmap to successful academic publishing.
